With there only being two series of games to choose from for this slate, salary management becomes more important than ever. G2 stands out as a heavy heavy favorite with Jankos, Perkz, and Caps all phenomenal choices for your roster. It is definitely possible for Mad Lions to surprise tomorrow; after all, they did beat G2 back in February. However, G2 has every reason to go all out tomorrow, and their performance both throughout the split and during Season 9 is too convincing. The only reason to avoid some G2 players is to try to fade the chalk and hope more points are scored elsewhere but choking on chalk may be the way to go on such a small slate.
Fnatic versus Origen should be a different type of series altogether. This matchup is likely to make or break your roster depending on who performs. Both teams have great adcs in Rekkles and UpseT, and the top lane matchup should be very interesting so long as Alphari doesn’t decide to go Soraka against Fnatic again. In a best of 5, it will be interesting to see how Origen bans and picks to counter Rekkles. Last time these teams faced off against each other, Origen banned Rakan, Braum, and Leona The first two supports are designed for crowd control and protecting their adc, while Leona is built to initiate with her crowd control and set up kills for the team. It’s not often you see three supports banned by one team, especially with so many strong champions they were willing to leave open. If they can shut down Rekkles before and during the game, they have the potential to move forward.
If Origen does perform, then a combination of G2 and Origen would make for a fantastic lineup, with priority for Jankos, Perkz and Caps on G2. Those three are incredibly strong in terms of kills, and G2 is the safest bet for winning tomorrow. Caps especially has a high KDA in part thanks to his unique picks. Ideally, you would only have one or two Origen picks, with the remainder (including the Captain) go to G2. If you favor Fnatic and think Rekkles will pull through, then simply replace Origen with Fnatic and be sure to include Rekkles on your lineup, either as Captain or adc so you can include Caps.
