We have only two games here for the losers bracket portion of the Flashpoint tournament. There are no major favorites here with Cloud9 at -200 being the closest series to target and we are Draftkings only again as Fanduel still hasn’t realized there is CS outside of ESL. With only two games you have to play it perfectly so be careful here and have fun.

Draftkings’ scoring follows the chart shown below, with a focus on K/D and clutch plays. Rosters are set with a Captain position who receives 1.5x his points at 1.5x his salary, but beyond that it is positionless. This is important to understand because CS teams follow a composition of different roles such as IGL (In game leader), entry fragger, support, etc. With Draftkings making no distinction between players, it is left to you to decide which roles are most important within this scoring system and to take advantage of that. For several teams for example, their IGL is not often going to score highly as they may be less skilled at the game but are valuable in ways that Draftkings doesn’t record. With that in mind, I will jump into a quick look at the roles of key players, their key stats, and how their perceived performance should fare in accordance with their salary.

Our top plays are designed to show the most playable options on each team, factoring in performance and price. The top 2 plays on each team will be in our player pool and the third tier top plays are people we will sprinkle in a bit along with the core group. All of the statistics shown are for the last 3 months to see who has been performing well recently while still keeping a significant sample size. Good luck to everyone and we are always looking for feedback on how to improve the readability of our content!

HAVU(-122) V GenG(-106) (1:00 PM EST)

After a disappointing loss against MiBR, HAVU comes in against a GenG lineup that hasn’t been too impressive in this tournament. In fact, they have only won 3 of their last 8 series, and those were against FPX and twice against Dignitas. This HAVE team should be too much for them to handle, and there is some great value here. ZOREE has been Mr. Consistent, but is priced as such. Luckily, sLowi and hoody are affordable and can be staples of a lot of lineups. If GenG plays like they have against superior opponents, there could be some big scores for this HAVU lineup.

Top Plays: ZOREE, sLowi, hoody

GenG took care of business against an abysmal FPX squad, but don’t expect a similar performance against HAVU. Koosta has been head and shoulders above his teammates recently, and his price reflects that. He is a solid 1 off, and the staple of a team stack if you want to go down that line. No one else here is too reliable, but BnTeT has put up fairly consistent numbers recently and autimatic has the skill to produce well. S0m is a wildcard, but has looked pretty solid recently. None of those 3 are high priority targets here, but if you want to make a few team stacks in case they upset HAVU, you will want to sprinkle them in alongside koosta.

Top plays: koosta, BnTeT, autimatic, s0m

C9(-200) V ORG(+151) (3:30 PM EST)

PlayerDK SalaryRating 2.0Kills/RoundKASTImpact

Cloud9 is the biggest favorite of the day and won a hard fought 2-1 series in their only matchup with ORG. JT and oSee were their top performers in that series but JT has been awful since. This team is hard to predict as they are all over the place and we don’t really love anybody in particular. This should not be as close as last time and a team stack is likely the way to go here. Sonic is an interesting play at his price, as he did all he could yesterday with a +21 performance in a 2-0 loss to MAD Lions. Be wary though, as that was his first quality performance in 6 series. Motm is very expensive and is another player that could be on the top or bottom of the scoreboard, so be careful with him as well.

Top plays: oSee, floppy, Sonic

Infinite, WARDELL, and yay all went positive in their losing effort to C9, and yay’s performance along with JT’s made it look like a battle of the shitters. These guys already seem to be more interested in Valorant than finishing out this tournament and we believe they will crumble here. FNS has been calling out his guys for giving up and they honestly don’t seem to care. It’s hard to recommend playing these guys given what’s going on, regardless of talent, so tread carefully. Infinite and WARDELL would be the reason this team somehow wins, so it’s not a terrible idea to sprinkle them into your lineups a few times.

Top plays: Infinite, WARDELL
