This slate includes two matchups: SRB against SB and TES against JDG. We won’t cover the second matchup, as we’ve already released an article delving into the LPL finals, which you can read here. For the LCK, it would appear we have a new team in the LCK next split: Team Dynamics. After defeating SB and SRB back to back, they have now qualified for the LCK, while Griffin have lost 0-2 and will enter the CK. Now, all that’s left is to see if SB will follow the same path, or if they have what it takes to remain in the LCK for the next split.

This should be an interesting matchup, as is expected of the final Summer Promotion series. Their series against DYN didn’t go so well, but SB’s weaker points looked better against Griffin. Not to mention, their chances at returning to the LCK are on the line here; if they lose, they’ll join Griffin in the CK next split. SRB have had a good run, but Griffin have definitely proved to be the weakest team in this tournament, so this slate might not be as surprising.
SRB | KP% | KDA | CS/M |
Thal | 65.9% | 4.3 | 7.9 |
KaKAO | 70.9% | 3.5 | 5.3 |
DanChung | 66.2% | 4.2 | 7.6 |
Sangyoon | 70.4% | 6.8 | 9.9 |
Nova | 67.2% | 3.9 | 1.1 |
SB | KP% | KDA | CS/M |
Summit | 64.4% | 2.1 | 8.2 |
OnFleek | 71.8% | 2.7 | 5.6 |
FATE | 56.6% | 3.3 | 8.4 |
Route | 64.2% | 3.4 | 10.1 |
GorillA | 69.4% | 2.8 | .8 |
After Route’s performance against Griffin, he’s looking very good. He even managed to stay alive during SB’s matches against DYN, so odds are he’ll hold up pretty well against SRB. Summit definitely played better than when he fought DYN, although he was still looking a little sketchy at times, and Thal/KaKAO might prove to be more difficult for him. Jungle is sure to be an interesting matchup, as KaKAO is still one of the better players on SRB, but mid lane is highly likely to be in favor of SB. FATE is far better in this matchup, as DanChung doesn’t seem to have the most solid pickups, so SB’s damage dealers are looking very good in this matchup.
SRB Top Picks: Thal, KaKAO, Sangyoon SB Top Picks: FATE, Route, GorillA
