Typically speaking, the playoffs see the better teams shine and the decent teams fall apart. However, it’s definitely interesting that neither favorites for the tie breaker series were victorious on Sunday, so this tournament could prove to be close. Let’s see what we’re up against.

mouz(-185) V RGO(+141) (12 PM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||31:10||33:11|
Mouz and RGO are 2 strong teams, but mouz have had the better record. While mouz have been dominant throughout the tournament, RGO made a serious comeback towards the second half of the split. We’re also seeing teams in different groups take each other on, so maybe mouz won’t be prepared for what RGO has to offer, but mouz have been on point this split.
Jeskla has been very focused on Aphelios lately, but that’s not to say he won’t perform on other characters, so don’t think Woolite will dominate him. As for the rest of the roster, Lider has consistently proven to be a monster, so he’s looking good despite Czekolad’s decent games. Tolkin and Obsess are both great picks for mouz, while Zanzarah stands out as a particular weakness for RGO. If RGO surprises us, it will likely be on Czekolad and Woolite, so keep your eye on them. If not, then mouz’s entire roster looks pretty good, but be wary of RGO’s bot lane giving Jeskla and Promisq a hard time.
Mouz Top Picks: Tolkin, Obsess, Lider, Jeskla RGO Top Picks: Czekolad, Woolite, Mystiques
LDLC(-116) V BTXL(-111) (2 PM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||33:29||32:56|
LDLC and BTXL have been on point in their respective groups, starting the split with some losses before coming back strong. Given these comeback stories, this series should be an interesting watch. LDLC are currently the favored team, which is interesting given the overall higher KDAs on BTXL… with one major exception.
The Hades/YellOwStaR stands out as the major high point for LDLC, but TynX turned out to be the most expensive player in the slate. This is likely due to his performance against VGIA, where he played Graves and absolutely destroyed the opposition. If LDLC have more picks like this up their sleeve, and they can be successful, then there’s a great chance they’ll do well going into this series. BTXL is still a strong team, and players like Send0o and Special might not be too bad against LDLC’s solo laners, but it’s no guarantee. Bando did manage to play well in that VGIA game as Mordekaiser, but Vetheo’s Zoe was a letdown, so mid lane is likely to be one of LDLC’s weaker points.
LDLC Top Picks: Bando, TynX, Hades, YellOwStaR BTXL Top Picks: Send0o, Special, Deadly, KaSing
