This slate is going to include a matchup from our previous slate, SAN vs Falkol, which you can read about here. Today’s article will cover the other playoffs matchup, Havan Liberty Gaming versus Team oNe. For better or worse, we’ve traded the chaos and uncertainty of the EU Masters Finals for a slightly less unpredictable BBRC playoffs match.

Things look pretty even in this matchup as far as statistics, but it’s interesting to see that HL defeated ONE every single game this split, even very recently. This might lead you to assume HL will dominate once more, but teams have been known to turn things around when reaching the playoffs. ONE even took down SAN at the end of April, but it wasn’t the easiest win for them. It would be interesting to see
The games against ONE this split saw a decent JNG/MID/ADC lineup, with the latest game having an incredible jungle Olaf score. So there are some good options there in terms of working around SAN, as you may not need to grab all of SAN’s most expensive players. Hiden has had some decent games, although you’re more likely to get the most points out of the other players if HL performs. However, if ONE breaks their loss streak and makes themselves a serious contender, there is great lineup potential. phO’s matches typically see higher assist counts, which isn’t ideal for an adc, but a good game against HL could mean great things for him regardless.. That being said, the rest of the team is pretty reliable, probably leading to their higher scores on DK. Also bear in mind ONE do have a sub for support, and they may choose to play him if things go wrong. Keep an eye out to see who will start; we’ll be sure to do the same.
Given HL’s history against ONE, their slightly lower pricing might prove to be very beneficial. We’re likely to see a number of SAN/HL lineups here. Still, given the high KP (especially in the jungle) on both teams, there are a lot of great options. If ONE does manage to take this series, they will certainly have grabbed our attention.
