There are a few very intriguing matchups in this slate, so it should be a fun slate to play. It looks like half of the matchups are close while the other half are one-sided at first glance. Of course, you never know what will happen, so keep an open mind….

AF(+198) V DYN(-270) (4 AM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||33:37||32:15|
Both teams had surprisingly good showings so far, but their opponents had a lot of issues. Given that, it’ll be interesting to see how these teams fare in a more balanced matchup. Definitely don’t count out DYN, however. They might be new to the LCK but defeating a disorganized KT is still an impressive accomplishment for a team who just joined the league.
AF Top Picks: Spirit, Mystic, Ben DYN Top Picks: Rich, Beyond, Kuzan
If you go for AF, pay attention to Mystic. His performance from AF’s first series makes him too good to pass up in an AF victory. Ben was his support last time, so you can grab him as well, and Spirit has a great record to go along with a dominant Mystic. However, DYN does have a chance here. One of Rich’s strengths was his Aatrox, and apparently it’s being let through. Even so, he performed better than expected in all games, so that is a potential strength for DYN. You can grab Deokdam as well, although there are some other ADCs you can prioritize.
Going for AF picks is also tempting due to the relatively low cost. DYN aren’t favored, so you’ll grab their lineup easily, but TES and T1 are naturally very expensive grabs, so you’ll have an easier time making one of these teams your secondary.
DMO(-127) V OMG(-103) (5 AM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||32:16||31:12|
Here we have a battle between 2 fairly weak teams right now, with OMG looking slightly stronger. A game with OMG as favorites could see a pretty decent score by the end of it all given how weak DMO is as a team. This might be the hidden gem in this slate, but given the poor record from both teams, it’s still a bit worrying.
DMO Top Picks Xiaopeng, Twila OMG Top Picks Curse, H4cker, icon, SmLz, cold
It’s really easy to grab the OMG roster here, and there’s a lot of potential in the case DMO gets destroyed once more. They’ve yet to win a single game so far, but if you think DMO will turn it around here then by all means. If you’re looking for a few picks to complete an expensive lineup, Xiaopeng and Twila could be beneficial, but that’s assuming DMO even wins. You’ll likely have enough salary left over to grab the OMG players instead, so you can pick and choose whatever role you need filled. Just beware of DMO’s starters; it’s yet to be seen if they’ll make a difference but it’s still doubtful OMG will lose simply due to the roster changes.
LGD(-208) V TES(+157) (7 AM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||32:57||32:44|
LGD have had some decent showings, but this is TES we’re talking about. With players like 369, Knight, and JackeyLove in the mix, it’s difficult to imagine LGD pulling off the upset. We’ll list the picks but there really isn’t much else to say about this matchup; only beware of the jungle. Karsa is a solid jungler but he hasn’t been the most consistent player overall, and Peanut could give him some trouble.
LGD Top Picks: Peanut, Kramer, Mark TES Top Picks: 369, Knight, JackeyLove, yuyanjia.
The picks for TES might be difficult to work around, but those 4 are generally the most solid choices for TES. Karsa isn’t a bad choice either, although we’ve seen him have trouble scoring well in the past. Still, even though they are expensive, grabbing 4 TES players is a great way to go in this slate.
T1(-118) V HLE(-110) (7 AM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||34:11||33:01|
After the calamity that was T1 vs DRX, we’re hesitant to go all in on T1. They are against a considerably weaker team, but it’s early in the split and we’ve seen T1’s victories include few kills but strong gold leads. T1 definitely has potential to score well, but the risk might not be worth it with a team like TES in the mix.
T1 Top Picks: Canna, Cuzz, Teddy HLE Top Picks: Haru, Lava, VIPER
If you’re going for the underdogs, beware of top. We haven’t included CuVee as he was subbed out for the final 2 games of the series, and honestly there are better picks. V1PER is bound to be successful if T1 falls apart, and the other choices are great secondary picks as well… again, if HLE surprises. It’s more likely T1 will end up with a solid victory, so if they score well then those 3 picks will do your lineup justice. Just bear in mind it’s no guarantee given T1’s play style, not to mention the fact they will be taking advantage of this time to tinker with new strategies (one reason why Faker isn’t on the top picks is for that reason; we may see him play only support mid laners.)
