Okay, we know EDG aren’t running their main roster what with Hope gone, but wow. That was unexpected. It would seem DMO won’t be the newest V5, although they’d be close to it if they don’t win anymore throughout the split. Still, it’s a strange day when DMO outperforms FPX in points.
At any rate, there are a few closer matchups here, so let’s see which ones to invest in.

LNG(-143) V BLG(+110) (5 AM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||32:44||29:48|
While LNG is definitely the stronger team so far this split, BLG’s addition of Meteor could turn things in their favor. However, the scores weren’t as great as they could’ve been, making us wonder about stacking the other matchup in this slate. That’s always a bit of a risk in a Bo3 situation, but you never know. These teams aren’t exactly guaranteed to fail, and BLG isn’t exactly leagues away from LNG in skill, but we’re a bit worried this matchup won’t produce the greatest results.
LNG Top Picks:
We’re a bit light on the picks due to the uncertainty of this matchup, and it helps if you like LNG for this series. LNG’s players are the most expensive of the slate given how weak BLG has been so far this split, yet it remains uncertain how well they’ll perform. Also, given how strong DMO was against EDG yesterday, it’s clear even the most surprising of upsets can strike at any moment. Meteor is sure to contribute to BLG’s success if they win this series, and he might not make for a bad jungler for a contrarian lineup given the low salary.
It’s also worth mentioning this series is more likely to result in a 2-0 than our next matchup, so that’s worth considering if you want to stack RNG/WE. As we mentioned earlier, stacking is always a bit risky, but the players in this matchup don’t really get us too excited.
RNG(-106) V WE(-122) (7 AM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||31:42||34:35|
This is bound to be a closer series, and with Cryin back in the mix of things, we could see some high scores from this matchup. There’s even the potential for both teams to score incredibly well, but the hardest part here is determining the victor. Usually in cases where the winning team is far more certain, you need to figure out which players to prioritize; here, that’s less of an issue, but both of these teams are solid and can play very well. The obvious advantage we’ll give to RNG is the addition of Cryin who traditionally plays mid lane as more of a carry than Teacherma, something that could help RNG in the early game.
RNG Top Picks:
Picks are definitely very complicated here, so you’ll have to decide on your favored team. We’ve included Betty and Jiumeng as both have incredible potential to score well here, especially if the games are close. XLB and Cryin are incredibly strong and can make for a devastating duo, but you have to remember just how good beishang is. If you think RNG will come away with a strong victory against WE, you’ll want to include XLB, but a strong WE will give beishang room to set the tempo of the game. Despite the jokes about Teacherma and Platinum, he’s a solid mid laner; the main issue is his playstyle, which doesn’t compliment fantasy as well as someone like Cryin. Interestingly enough, Cryin is the one RNG player on both platforms who is cheaper than Teacherma, probably due to the lack of games played this split. In light of this, that’s a pretty good way to save salary.
