With things going mostly as expected in our previous slate, it’ll be interesting to see how this one plays out. Some matchups make sense, others have potential for some crazy outcomes. It’s sure to be fun, although with TES in the mix of things, there’s going to be at least one team with high ownership.

Matchup Analysis
Given how weak both of these teams are, it’s going to be one of the uncertain matchups. We’re not too sure how well these teams will do in the event of a victory, but it’s possible we’ll see a decent performance out of either team here (which we certainly aren’t used to.) HLE has a small boost in the form of Viper, but of course we still need the rest of his team to do well. He can’t carry alone.

HLE Top Picks:
Going for 4 picks on either side could be a bit risky, so we’ve narrowed it down to 2 for each team. HLE’s bot lane stands out, and we’ve mentioned before they have some sub risks for the other members. SP is actually in a similar position, although it’s not quite as risky. Still, the salary could help with some of the more expensive lineups. If you need a solid adc from other teams, you could grab Viper or even HyBrid and get the double adc lineup fairly easily. So don’t immediately fade this matchup just because of how weak they are; the salary will help make for an amazing lineup.

Matchup Analysis
Even though TES lost their first series the other day, VG doesn’t really stand much of a chance. Even with Aix starting, it’s TES. The upset is always possible, but don’t count on it.

TES Top Picks
As always, TES has a fantastic lineup you’ll be able to choose from, but as always the salary can get tricky, especially with the other LPL matchup. Obviously the whole lineup would be ideal, but it doesn’t work that way. These 3 are going to be solid, but don’t feel like you shouldn’t grab 369 or yuyanjia if you need to. There are a lot of ways to go here with the TES players, but you should try and include some of them in your lineup if possible.
JDG(-222) V FPX(+166) (7 AM EST)

Turrets/Game | 6.8 | 6.1 |
K+D/Game | 25.4 | 26 |
Matchup Analysis
Once more, a close LPL matchup. Maybe not quite as close, but FPX is a fairly strong team. At the very least, you’ll have a decent, cheap alternative if JDG doesn’t work out. Still, this should be an exciting matchup that could go either way in terms of kills.
JDG | KP% | KDA | CS/M |
Zoom | 64.6% | 4 | 6.7 |
Kanavi | 62.8% | 4.9 | 5.5 |

Crisp | 64.8% | 2.9 | 1.1 |
JDG Top Picks:
FPX Top Picks:
Not much to say about this matchup. You want the best of both sides, but you’ll have a tough time fitting in the JDG picks if you’re going for some TES players as well. FPX will be easier, although they aren’t the cheapest team in the slate either. Still, there are fantastic options on each side, so this could be another phenomenal matchup in this slate. It would seem the LPL is looking very good for tomorrow.
DRX(-714) V DYN(+432) (7 AM EST)
Stats | DRX | DYN |
W/L | 17/6 | 10/12 |
Avg. Game Length | 31:56 | 33:01 |
Dragons/Game | 2.57 | 2.59 |

Heralds/Game | .83 | 1.14 |
Turrets/Game | 7.2 | 5.1 |
K+D/Game | 23.1 | 22.5 |
Matchup Analysis
DRX is pretty popular going into this, and for good reason, but you never know. At the very least, DYN will put up a fight and perhaps make this a less attractive matchup than one might initially think. Given the nature of the LPL matchups, this doesn’t seem as ideal to invest in, particularly if you go for DRX’s side of things. The players are very expensive when all is said and done, and for a risk of less reward.
DRX | KP% | KDA | CS/M |
Doran | 55.4% | 2.6 | 8.7 |
Pyosik | 75.4% | 4.5 | 5.4 |
Chovy | 73.6% | 5.7 | 8.7 |
Deft | 73.8% | 5.6 | 10.1 |
Keria | 73.8% | 5.1 | 1.1 |
DYN | KP% | KDA | CS/M |
Rich | 69.6% | 2.5 | 8.7 |
Beyond | 68.4% | 3 | 5.4 |
Kuzan | 63.5% | 3.8 | 8.7 |
deokdam | 62.2% | 3.1 | 9.6 |
GuGer | 64% | 2.9 | 1 |
DRX Top Picks:
DYN Top Picks:
Pretty standard picks here as well, although you’ll have to limit yourself on DRX. The toughest part of this split is going to be finding a balance between TES, JDG, and DRX if you plan on going with the favorites. Chovy isn’t a bad option either, but there are some solid mid laners to take into account for the LPL so you might want to pass on him this time around. Meanwhile, DYN has some decent options for a potential upset, and it might just be the most appealing upset of the slate if it were to happen. Still, DYN hasn’t had the strongest record against the stronger LCK teams, so don’t expect too much.
