What a slate! Every game went 2-0, which is even more impressive given it was 5 matchups in place of the usual 4. It will be interesting to see if that can be replicated here today. We have another 5 series slate, so once more we have plenty of opportunities in this slate.

V5(+181) V JDG(-244) (3 AM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||29:48||31:35|
This is bound to be a tight matchup. On one hand, JDG is quite the threat. On the other, V5 is very menacing themselves and even managed to take down TES. It’ll be interesting to see if Y4 can stand up to the pressure against a team like JDG, so we’ll see.
V5 Top Picks:
JDG Top Picks:
There’s great picks on both sides, and considering the cost, it’ll be easy to afford whichever team you go with. Given this, there’ll be some great secondary choices in this matchup, or perhaps you could even stack this one. It’s not usually the way to go in a sketchy matchup like this, but it would certainly be a bold move. Just remember we’ve seen some very close matches recently, and that might carry over here, so choosing the right players is more important than ever. These picks could do very well and possibly have fewer death counts, saving enough points to keep them as favorable.
DWG(-3333) V HLE(+962) (4 AM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||28:38||31:41|
This is a pretty straightforward matchup, moreso than some of the LPL matches. DWG has been so dominant, it makes sense they’re so expensive for this slate. You’ll likely see extremely high DWG ownership on this slate, so keep that in mind. They’ll likely do very well, but you can’t really rule out the other teams, so be a bit careful investing into this matchup. There might be some decent options elsewhere for a lot less salary.
DWG Top Picks
HLE Top Picks
HLE’s chances are so low it’s not even worth the investment. If you’re grabbing any HLE players at all, it means you’re going all in and will go for as many as you can. DWG is obviously a strong choice, but some of the expensive players might not be too worth it. There are still other decent matchups, and it’s not everyday TES is as cheap as they are on FD. In fact, the LCK teams are the most expensive on FD, so there’s a lot of room for movement there. Ghost/BeryL aren’t as expensive on DK, and ShowMaker is ShowMaker, but keep an open mind about the LPL here.
ES(+238) V WE(-333) (5 AM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||32:27||33:26|
This is sure to be an interesting matchup. ES has been pretty awful for a while now, and WE has a decent record of performing well when they can actually win. Their main issue is consistency, but if ES can’t get it together then there’s another opportunity for easy points on WE’s side.
ES Top Picks:
WE Top Picks:
Going in on WE isn’t the worst idea, and the picks are great to be sure. As we’ve said many times before, Teacherma is generally expected to rack up assists rather than kills, but that can still be valuable if the team as a whole dominates. A high assist account is better than a few kills and assists. Use these picks to rotate between the different LPL matchups, and if you’re taking any LCK players, find out which LPL matchup you want to grab your remaining lineup from. This one certainly would suit you well.
TES(-500) V RNG(+332) (7 AM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||32:25||32:26|
It’s not impossible for RNG to pull through here, but TES is still quite the team to overcome. They’re somewhat pricey on DK at times, especially with Knight. However, FD has the LCK teams priced higher, so this could be quite the opportunity. This isn’t the only viable option, but it’s probably the easiest way to stack TES and JDG we’ll ever see this split.
TES Top Picks:
RNG Top Picks:
We’ll go pretty heavy on the TES picks since they’re hard to pass up here. DK users will have a harder time affording all of them, but that can depend on the rest of your roster. Granted, it’s worth mentioning TES isn’t exactly cheap on FD, but the fact they aren’t the most expensive is what leaves some options open. It’s a pretty small window, but it’s there to climb through nonetheless, so do your best to take advantage while you can. Really can’t go wrong with these TES picks, and we’ll throw in XLB given his strength as a jungler despite his team’s struggles.
T1(-500) V SB(+332) (7 AM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||33:20||32:16|
This is another fairly standard matchup, but honestly it’s not really worth investing that much into T1. Not only has T1 had some issues lately, but SB has been doing better as time goes on and the upset isn’t too out of place. We’ve seen these kinds of upsets before; Clozer had a great first series, but that doesn’t mean the momentum will translate. Even if it did, this is T1 we’re talking about; given the other 4 matchups, this appears to be a waste of salary overall.
T1 Top Picks:
We’ll keep picks to a minimum here for the reasons listed above, but it’s worth mentioning Canna is one of the more consistent top laners we’ve seen. Teddy of course is one of the stronger picks on T1, but beware of Clozer. He’s going to be starting and odds are he’ll play all the games, but don’t think his success against KT will automatically translate. Not to mention FATE has been one of SB’s most valuable assets. These picks are available if you need to fill spots and happen to have the salary (T1) or if you need a cheap option (SB) so we don’t recommend grabbing 4 players on either side.
