It’s strange going down from 5 matchups to a measly 2. Given the nature of these particular matchups, it’s not exactly a breathtaking slate either. Both matchups have a team that is likely to take the victory, although we’ll have to work with the fact that one is closer than the other. It’s not a whole lot, and doesn’t make for as exciting of a 2 gamer, but it’s still the LPL so it’s bound to be at least somewhat entertaining.
Although… it’s worth mentioning some of these teams have been performing a bit differently than expected. It might not be enough to turn the tides for this slate, but those of you who enjoy betting on the underdogs might be a fan of these matchups (as unlikely as it might seem.)

Matchup Analysis
FPX had a bit of a downward streak, particularly with surprise losses against VG and RW. Still, this is DMO we’re talking about. There’s not much hope for them here even if FPX had a bit of a rough patch, and they’ve been winning their most recent games, so this seems like a pretty cut and dry matchup.

DMO Top Picks:
This trio has been the most consistent for FPX, but you’ll need to make some sacrifices in order to grab all of them. It’s going to be difficult to afford all of these players, particularly if you stack them with LGD, so we included Chelizi as a backup in case you need to grab a one off. It’s not ideal, but it is one way to go, so keep an open mind. It’s doubtful DMO will do well enough to justify picking them under most circumstances, but if it means securing a number of high cost players, sacrificing top for Chelizi might not be the worst trade off to make.

Matchup Analysis
Despite the fairly close score difference, this match looks solid overall for LGD. When their greatest successes are against ES, OMG, DMO, and RW, that doesn’t instill too much confidence. Meanwhile, LGD has been a strong team; maybe not strong enough to match the top contenders, but solid enough to take down the rest of the LPL. Putting faith in BLG could work but isn’t recommended, making this a rather difficult slate.

LGD Top Picks
BLG Top Picks
Most of our top lanes seem to come from the losing teams this slate, but that’s not the worst play. If you can make a solid 4/3 work with FPX and LGD then more power to you, but if you want 2 adcs that’s just not possible. So you’ll need to grab kingen or Chelizi as an alternative option, and they aren’t the worst choices. FD users need that 3rd team regardless, and while you usually want to save that for the team slot, that might not be enough to afford the greats. The picks on LGD’s side are the more consistent, although we have seen good things out of xiye, and the BLG choices will help save you some money if necessary. Meteor is actually one of their stronger players, so that could be ideal in the case of an upset, but sacrificing jungle might not be the greatest move for this particular slate, particularly with Peanut in the mix of things.
