This seems to be another straightforward slate, but after EDG and OMG’s victories, who knows. There’s some strong victors here who have been more consistent than some of the players from the previous slate, although V5 was a bit surprising. Still, this slate should make more sense, something that could be good or bad depending on how you work with 2 gamers.

LNG(+319) V LGD(-476) (5 AM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||31:39||33:46|
It’s worth mentioning LNG managed to win their first series since early June a few days ago, defeating RW 2-0. Still, they’re against a much tougher opponent this time around, and it’s not like we expected them to suddenly lose to every single team. RW had its moments but they’re starting to fall apart once more, which is sad given how crazy good they are when playing well. The upset would certainly make for a decent showing on LNG’s side of things, but LGD looks great regardless. Besides, they’ve been winning many of their matchups recently, so anyone who judges based on that can’t give LNG too much credit.

LGD Top Picks:
Peanut has been a solid LGD pick for quite a while now, and you can expect a good showing from him here. However, we’ve seen a lot more potential for the incredibly high scores from xiye and Kramer in the past, and that might be something to focus on. It doesn’t help that Peanut is cheaper than Karsa on DK, so DK users get a bit of an added bonus there. Given Maple’s strength as a mid laner, xiye isn’t expected to completely roll through him, but he’s been a force to be reckoned with regardless. Giving a lot of LGD picks a chance will help with affording the TES players, and we would only recommend xiye if you plan on going 2 mid laners; trading him in for Knight isn’t the smartest move, but he’s still worth a mention on our pick list.
ES(+667) V TES(-1429) (7 AM EST)
|Avg. Game Length||32:24||32:17|
Not much to say here… if this turns out to be an upset, it’ll go extremely well for ES, and there’s a bit of an unknown variable at play here. This will be Wink’s first match since July 10th, so it’ll be interesting to see if ES will benefit from his return or if they’ll be out of sync. One thing’s for sure: ES is pulling out all stops here. Taking down TES is still pie in the sky for a team that’s been struggling for this long, however, so don’t get too overconfident…

TES Top Picks
We’ll throw in the whole roster for TES simply because they’re all likely to be worth it; use them when and where you can, but obviously prioritize the carries. There are sure to be a number of different combinations, and getting 4 TES players might end up being worth it if you can fill the rest of your lineup with picks that can at least stay alive. Still, that’s usually a risky play, and it’s not like the other matchup is going to be up in the air.
Despite Xiaobai and Wink starting once more, we don’t fancy ES’s chances here. Still, there are picks that can serve you well in the case of an upset; ideally you’d want 4 ES players in that scenario, but you never really know. There’s going to be a lot of picks for a 2 gamer slate, but it all comes down to the team you want. We included so many picks since there are great options even in the case of a team losing a series; something to help you with salary issues. So don’t immediately write off some of these choices on ES or LNG, since it could help you create the dream lineup.
